Holdwine (905), Beertimore, Maryland, USA Oct 20, 2008 Nopt really that ’’different’’. Certainly clean and crisp (impact of rice?). Otherwise watery and unfulfilling. Bottle looks nice. Is that worth any points? movezig (137), Pensacola, Florida, USA Oct 20, 2008 12oz @ Hopjacks downtown Pensacola FL. Was really loud so didnt catch a lot of the notes (very bad place to taste beer). From what I remember it was very sweet with light hops. Some banana and orange. I think what I remembered was that it porely represented a golden ale but was still pretty tasty. joergen (8430), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 19, 2008 Draught at the brewery.
Cloudy golden coloured with a creamy white head.
Fruity aroma of hops and spices with notes of candies.
Fruity flavour of hops, spices and candies.
Hoppy finish. wetherel (1565), Encinitas, California, USA Oct 13, 2008 On tap a the brewery. Yellow color. Small head. Large bubble quickly fading. Sweetish. Somewhat easy to drink. Fresh. Mild aroma. shanepardue (107), Raytown, Missouri, USA Oct 10, 2008 Light, clear, bitter unfiltered ale. Almost tastes like a bitter hoppy wheat, but doesn’t have the aroma of hops or the good aftertaste. Not too bad, not too great aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Oct 9, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow with a large white froth. The aroma is slightly herbal from the hops. There is a light maltiness, but there’s a bit of creosote resin in the finish that’s off-putting in a beer this light. blklab2007 (938), Connecticut, USA Oct 6, 2008 bottle poured a lightly hazed golden color with little white head. aroma is sweet, wheat, grainy, and a bit of clover. mouth feel is thin with average carbonation. flavor is very grainy with the rice coming through. mild hops and yeast are the highlights here. hoppopotamus (182), Santa Cruz, California, USA Oct 5, 2008 Looks like slightly cloudy Heineken. There is a bit of fruity hops in the aroma and perhaps a hint of some belgiany yeastiness or breadiness. The flavor is uninteresting, a touch of caramel malt. I thought this was a lager until I read the label more carefully. Pretty piss poor.
