| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 10, 2008 Light, clear, bitter unfiltered ale. Almost tastes like a bitter hoppy wheat, but doesn’t have the aroma of hops or the good aftertaste. Not too bad, not too great aracauna (2374), Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 9, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow with a large white froth. The aroma is slightly herbal from the hops. There is a light maltiness, but there’s a bit of creosote resin in the finish that’s off-putting in a beer this light. blklab2007 (957), Connecticut, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 6, 2008 bottle poured a lightly hazed golden color with little white head. aroma is sweet, wheat, grainy, and a bit of clover. mouth feel is thin with average carbonation. flavor is very grainy with the rice coming through. mild hops and yeast are the highlights here. hoppopotamus (182), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Looks like slightly cloudy Heineken. There is a bit of fruity hops in the aroma and perhaps a hint of some belgiany yeastiness or breadiness. The flavor is uninteresting, a touch of caramel malt. I thought this was a lager until I read the label more carefully. Pretty piss poor. Beaver (596), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 30, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with big yeasties and a frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet musty soapy bready malts.
The flavor is pretty bland - a little sweet malt and a touch of fruits with a little grassy bitterness that leads to a dry finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and watery with some sharp carbonation.
Overall, a pretty bland offering from GD. There’s nothing offensive, but nothing really appealing about it either. fiver29 (713), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 27, 2008 Bottle pours light golden and cloudy with a white head. Head dissipates fast. Has a slight aroma that doesn’t really remind me of anything. Its not real interesting. Has a light body and mouthfeel. Taste is not that impressive. Light beer flavor that is more watery than beer. Overall this is boring beer and not very inspiring.
