Sample, Mondial de la bière, savoured on June 3 2009; eye: golden, hazy, slight effervescence, tiny ring of beige head; nose: grain, spent grains, residual sugar, rice; mouth: grain, spent grains, residual sugar, rice, finale in spent grains with residual sugar, rather carbonated, slightly bitter; overall: quite ordinary ph0tik (71), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 17, 2009 I’ve tried a few rice beers and this one seems to be the best so far. You can actually taste that little bit of difference between this and a wheat beer. Finishes smooth and pretty good with any kind of food. DWestrick (235), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 12, 2009 tap - to be honest, i thought it sucked. very bland with 0 interesting characteristics - but thats what you get with a blond ale arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Sep 9, 2009 This beer was a strange one. I had a sample of this at the tap room at Great Divide. They also had bottles of it so it should be in stores soon. It was a light yellow in color and cloudy. The taste reminded me of a wheat beer. It did seem like a good beer for a hot day, possibly a barbecue.

Tejas (693), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 1, 2009 Fat Pelican > Wilmington, NC. Pretty good but certainly not great. Mildly spicy and more flavor than I expected. One and done though. Not interesting enough to drink again. cprochak (388), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 31, 2009 On tap at the brewery on 7/18/09. Pours clear light gold with huge head. Mild banana aroma. Sweet, but thena light crisp rice flavor. Very drinkable with a little dry finish.
