Commercial Description:
Looking for something a little different? Brewed with rice and barley malts, Samurai is an easy drinking, unfiltered ale that changes the status quo for unfiltered beers. The addition of rice gives Samurai a slightly fruity, crisp, refreshing and clean taste. This is definitely not your everyday unfiltered beer.

Bottle. Hazy, yellowish golden body with a white head. The aroma is a blend of malt and fruit, and that goes for the flavor too. Some bitterness as well in the flavor. The mouthfeel is almost watery. Judging from my description, it may sound as a really boring beer, but it isn’t. Ok, maybe a bit boring, but with a nice taste and quenching powers I could easily down a few if that was the choice. In a bottle at the Great Orlando Beer Festival. It pours a sharp yellow color with a crisp hop and rice aroma. It almost tasted like a dry chardonnay, I did not like it. It tasted like a rice beer, and lacked any depth.

Pretty little head. Cloudy pale body. Yeasty smell. Tastes like bread. Easy to drink, some hops. Not too much taste.

Perfect hot summer session ale. Rice addition really gives this a distinctive crispness. Plenty of malt and hints of citus and pear. It is much lighter of course but reminds me of some of my favorite old ales. Best I can recall in a style that usually disappooints me.

A super easy drinking lager like blonde ale. I was impressed. Very thirst quenching. Most people rate against this style because it lacks flavor and well, it’s supposed to, ok.

Light golden color, with a slight haze......thin, pillowy head. Very faint, somewhat sweet aroma. Light malt front......very crisp mouthfeel. Mild sweetness in the back......finishes extremely dry.

Draught at WBF in Raleigh. Golden pour, small white head, dissipates quickly. Aroma and flavor is faint malt. Crispy finish, but not much on flavor. Oh well.

Bottle. Pours a light hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma was faint but fruity - orange, tangerine. Taste was faint as well, not much else there. Dry and bubbly on the palate.
