One of the best porters Ive had so far. Very dark, almost black with a rich smokey aroma. Tastes of espresso and a hint of bitter chocolate. Long finish.

Aug 31, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown with a creamy head. Aroma is caramel, choclate, coffee, and malt. Taste is much of the same. Finish is smoother. Very nice feel on the palate. Drinkable decent beer.

Aug 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with small to no head. Aroma is malty and chocolate. The chocolate taste balances out the taste very well. The after taste is a bit bitter. A nice porter, would buy again.

does not count  Aug 26, 2008 Pours dark brown with generous light brown head. Nice chocolatey aroma. Smooth but at the same time packing a bitter coffee kick. An enjoyable porter.

Aug 26, 2008 Pours a deep brown with minimal head. The nose is roasted chocolate malt,with hints of caramel & coffee. Comes across the palate rather weak in flavor. Mild chocolate, mild coffee, and just a note of caramel. Has a lingering faint chocolate after taste.
