COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

12oz. bottle. Hugely fruity hop aroma, citric and floral, with abundant grapefruit and pineapple along with some toasty, sweet background maltiness. Medium copper color, clear, with a tight cap of finely-constructed foam and a dense, intricate sheet of lacing. Well balanced aspects of malt and hop, the malts sweet, bready, cookieish and thick; the hops massively fruity, citric and piney, leading to a quenching, juicy, resinous hop finish. Smooth, creamy, lush mouthfeel, medium-full bodied. A quality IPA and worth seeking out.

Beautifully aromatic hops in the nose - pine, grass and grapefruit notes are as fresh as you can get. More of the same in the body, but the hops shift towards bitter and sour, with heavy notes of lemon and fresh squeezed orange juice. Caramel malts are present in the finish after the hops ease off the tongue a bit. Near perfect for the style.

I cant seem to get used to IPA that well, but this a very tasty version. Standard tast eand smell of hops and citrus. a small bit of tangy sensation at first sip. malt is true to its form. Recommend!!

Aromas of pine with some citrus and apple, smelled pretty fresh and yummy. Copper-orange in color with a bright white head and decent lacing. Flavor is earthy caramel with lots of pine hoppiness/bitterness, though it isn’t as bitter as some IPA’s. Medium full body, soft carbination, slightly metallic feel which livens it up. Dry finish.

Rich aroma of pine and citrus along with dark caramel and fruit. Orange amber color, rocky off-white head. Pronounced, somewhat harsh bitterness, resiny hop flavor, just detectable caramel malt. Medium body, some hop-derived astringency. A big IPA with intense hop character and bitterness.

Poured with a disconcertingly huge rocky head that just wouldn’t go away. I’m a big fan of GD’s big beers, but this was a little off the mark in the bitterness at the end. Compared to the Hercules, its bitterness was not as appetizing. A powerful IPA though.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Beautiful, dark amber. Filtered and clear with a small, fine and very creamy head. Fruity, hoppy nose. Fat, almost sticky, body with loads of malt. but being an IPA this of course is a hop-show with the hops completely taking over the scene. A crossfire of hops - both the aromatic and the bitter ones. But it ends intensely bitter - albeit not exactly suffocating as the same brewery’s "Old Ruffian". 290505

Copper colour with an off white head. Hoppy aroma with a citric note. Very dry and hoppy flavor, becomes more fruity towards the finish.
