3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very Very Hoppy. Not a huge hop fan, none the less, I enjoyed the crispness and hop bite of a great example of the style.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2005 Poured the color of tea with mild carbonation. Decent mouthfeel and aslightly sticky malt sweetness added to the hop presence. Not bad.
Bought some bottled in 11-04. Fricken awesome. Big pine, grrapefruit upfront followed by a nice malt balance. Almost 2 brews in 1.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
HISTORICAL NOTE: WHILE ATTEMPTING TO RATE THIS BEER LAST NIGHT, I DUMPED IT INTO MY FAVORITE WOMAN’S COMPUTER, DESTROYING BOTH THE BEER AND THE LAPTOP. Bright coppery pour with lasting medium-body head. Cascade and floral nose, rich complex body, and tangy finish. This really helped cool and heal my tongue while eating hot chili. I will try this as often as possible.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
My kind of IPA. Big, unique blend of piney and orangey hop aromas, big juicy maltiness, bracing hop flavors and bitterness. Well balanced, tipping toward the hop side of the scales, of course.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted at cellar temp. Pours golden brown. Huge fluffy, silky head, laced in distinct rings in an English pint glass. Slightly grapefruity aroma. Oakey, slightly buttery flavor with nutty overtones. Mouthfeel is slightly watery. Finish is bitter but it’s not a good kind of bitter, kind of a charred aftertaste. Seems to have the bitterness but not the sharpness and hoppiness of a great IPA. Decent, but out of balance and flawed in the finish. May be too warm.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A fairly dark and ruby colored brown. Poured with a very large white head. The aroma is a fairly massive orange peel and nutmeg. Also earthy hints. The taste is floral with orange peel and breadcrust. Very flavorful for a regular IPA. Notes of pine in the aftertaste. Fairly light mouthfeel. Very nice.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Not too much aroma here. This beer produced a HUGE rocky head that wouldn’t go away. Great color and lots of floaties. Nice beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Medium hoppy aroma, with some grainy malt notes coming through. Sweet toffee/biscuity start with a balanced hoppy finish. Less overpowering than some IPAs. Nice and refreshing.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Sweet hops in the nose, quite floral, with some pine sap and lychee. Quite sweet to start then really bitter to finish. Slightly spicy, citric finish aswell as lychee/pine/grapefruit. Lots of flavour. Palate is quite heavy.
