Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Titan IPA is as big and bold as its name implies, yet maybe not in the way you would think. This is a behemoth in terms of flavor and freshness but not necessarily in bitterness. Titan starts off with a woodsy, herbaceous note. In the middle, there’s a honey sensation from the malt before the fresh, citrusy ending. With its hop diversity and excellent balance, Titan is one of Colorado’s best IPA’s.

Draft at Khyber Pass. Pint. Clear strong amber pour with some white foam. Orangey bitter hops. Nicely full bodied. Flavors are strong and intense but not quite as complicated as I hoped out of Great Divide. Like it quite a bit, but missing some key elements.

12 oz bottle at Christy’s Euro Pub in Greenville, NC. Pours clear golden amber with a white head. Aroma contains the usual suspects for an IPA; pine and citrus hops with a slight malt backing. Has a slight crispness to it as well. Taste is pretty similar with the pine and citrus hops up front leading to a bitter finish. Body and texture are average. This is a good IPA but doesn’t really distinguish itself from a bunch of other similar beers in any significant way. Drinkable but unremarkable.

Glad I was able to find a decent beer in the CNN Center before Georgia’s SEC Tournament game. Pours clear light amber with small white head. Piney grain scent. Bitter bite with mild malt back. Light carbonation for style. Bottle - Dantana’s - Atlanta, GA

Smakar gurka, beskan är rätt otrevlig. Fin färg och doftar gott. Ganska okej ändå. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A clear caramel/dark honey color, huge off white head with great lacing. Smells of hops and citrus with some sweet and sour notes. Very pleasant smelling. Flavor is mostly of piney hops with some herbs and spice. Has a slightly sweet finish. This is a great beer that I will drink again and I recommend you try. Less than $10 a six pack is a great deal.

Great IPA. Pour is a beautiful golden color with an off white head. Aroma is amazing. Filling the air with hops. Flavor is a bit weak and therefore a slight markdown. Amazing Brew!

On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Beautiful clear copper body with a short tan head that lacks retention, settling into a foamy messy coating.
Aroma: The aroma is weak, but leans a bit sweet showing malts with a sweet leaning citrus aroma. The malts come off a little like bread and a hint of caramel.
Taste: Moderately bitter with a semi-sweet doughy malt base, I find myself enjoying each sip. The hops come off a touch herbal with some citrus and the finish lingers for a little of spicy bitterness.
Palate: Full-bodied with mild carbonation.
Overall: Very solid IPA with a good lasting bitterness. This is easy to drink for those who love hops, well done.
