3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
My learned off-sider (an academic of repute) said that this beer smelled either of compost or silage. Personally, I reckon it smelled of apricots, peaches and vegetal hoppiness, but he wasn’t to be swayed. It had a full body, definite, but not overwhelming bitterness and looked a gorgeous orange amber with a fulsome and persistent white head. I was left with a lovely lingering orange and apricot finish and marvelling at how my companion rose to the top of the law faculty when he couldn’t smell the beer that was in front of him properly.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours super foamy. Two fingers of beer with nine of foam. It took 15 minutes to get the rest poured. The body is a hazy medium straw color.
The aroma is mango in the pine forest.
The taste is dominated by a bold and dry grapefruit bitterness with some lemon and orange.
The texture is dry with moderate carbonation.
If you like super dry bitterness, this beer’s for you. It was a bit much for me though.

Very drinkable beer. A little watery and lacking in taste but very good. A little citrusy taste .

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
A bright but slightly hazy looking orange with little head or lace. The aroma is pine and citrus hops and buttery malt. The hops are aggressive up front on the tongue, and the taste finishes rich, strong and sweet. This is a very good IPA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light amber body with foamy head and some lacing. Malty nutty and some hoppy bitterness though not crazy bitter. Juicy citrus fruits. Nice ipa. This was the IPA that allowed me to remedy the embarrassing statistic of having rated more pale lagers than any other beer style. Thank you, Great Divide Titan IPA.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle. Pours murky orange with thin white head that lingers. Hop aroma over mild carbonation. Reasonably complex hop-grapefruit flavor.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Poured from a bottle into my favorite pint glass. This is a foamy glass of deliciousness! It was like an IPA root beer float. It is spicy, hoppy, yet easy drinking (not to mention 7.1%). This would be the reason I would attempt to make my own beer, but since I found "the one" I can now focus my energy on other things, and just go to the store and buy this. Great job!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours Amber were/copper, earthy and grassy on the nose. Highly hippy, huge bitterness and a long finish, while good a wee touch one note but good.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
This beer pours a slightly hazy orange color with a large white head, and the aroma blends citrus, spruce, and resin hop scents with a hint of diacetyl while not being overwhelming on the nose. The taste is quite bitter but slightly sour and a touch umami as well, which help to balance out the beer’s general flavor. Furthermore, the full body and bitter finish really help pack a punch, and the sticky texture and soft carbonation also help emphasize the entire hop experience with this beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A: Pours a ruby copper ale with excellent clarity. Single finger head of tight peanut foam dissipates in a minute to two. thin, but consistently sheeting lacing.
S: Pine needles, grass, soil. The hop profile here is very earthy to me. Nice movement from the citrus I have become so accustomed to of late. Caramel, munich malts come through at the back end. Maybe a hint of apricot.
T: Nice, solid malty beer with a healthy bitterness and hop presence. The beer is still piney with plenty of oily resin. Good flavor. Resonates on the palate.
M: Medium to heavy for the style with moderate carb. Good call. Feels heavy enough to slow me a down to an appropriate pace.
O: Very good, unique take on the IPA. Stong work as usual from a very solid brewery.
