Commercial Description:
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

12oz bottle served in a Duvel tulip. Brilliant orange body with a bit of sediment floating around, topped by a creamy off-white head. Nose is citrus, caramel, and pineapple. Medium bitterness. Strong orange peel flavor as well as some pine. smooth and dry mouthfeel. Very good.

A clear copper-amber beer with a thick white head that lasts and leaves lace. Aroma is spicy hops with some caramel malt notes. The flavor is hop-dominated, but atop a decent malt base. Finishes fairly bitter. Not standing out, not falling behind.

[1341-20080511] 355mL bottle. Woodsy bitter lemon pip aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Bitter heavy yeast and hops flavour has malty lemon pip notes. Medium body. Nice hoppy beverage.

Hell of an IPA! Smells sexy...in a beer way. Shut up. Great fruity, piney, kerry, woody, piney sort of aroma. The taste is bursting with hoppy goodness. A tad orgasmic. Aftertaste lingers like it should. One of my favorite non-imperial IPAs.

Thick long-lasting off-white head and a clear amber body. Piny hops ans citrus make up a rather titilating aroma. Lots of hops in the front and bitterness throughout. Little bit sweet at points. Has plenty of body for an IPA and is overall pretty damn good.
