COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Keg at BD Soho, 05/05/16. Clear golden orange with a well appointed egg shell white head. Nose is bitter orange, straw, earthy hop, tangerine, soft bread dough, airy malts. Taste comprises sweet malts, light grapefruit, orange pith, straw, bread dough, earthy hop streak, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close doused with hop bitterness. Decent easy drinking IPA but not the beer that wowed me on my first trips around then states 10 or more years ago !

Piney, earthy hop character with caramel malt aroma. Copper appearance with a white head with average retention. Flavor has pine, woody, grassy character. Bitterness is high with a harsh character. Malt flavor has notes of bread, biscuit and a good amount of caramel. Mouthfeel is medium with medium carbonation with a slight hop astringency. This definitely is an old school IPA. I don't care for the grassy and harsh hop character. Missing the bouquet of newer age hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours copper with a thin white head. Aroma is caramel & malt. A very malty ipa, like a stone beer. Bitter finish. I really like it.

Poured from a can into a shaker showing well filtered amber brown with half a finger of sparse white foam. The nose shows a lot of biscuity malts. The palate is full bodied and well carbonated. Flavors of pine, lime and lemon balanced out with a very strong malt background. Big sharp IPA finish on the end accompanied with more flavors of pine. Pretty good.

Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass. Poured a thick head. Smells of tropical fruit and pine. Really smells and looks good. Unfortunately, Iím not nearly as impressed by the flavor. Very average taste, a bit too sweet and alcohol dominant. This one is decent but Iím a little disappointed in the bitterness on the finish.

Clear golden orange, ample tan head. Citrus, pine resin. Hay. Quite bitter, light sweetness in the body. Oily, medium body. Long finish. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Whole Foods Market (Charlottesville, VA). Piney and tropical aromas, subtle bubblegum. Clear red-orange with a mostly lasting white head. Dry, piney, slightly minty, somewhat metallic. Medium bodied.

Originally rated on 7/17/08. It poured a hazy copper colored body, lots of carbonation, with a mid sized off white cap. Floral aroma almost peachy, some hints of pine. Flavor is a little sweet and piney, slightly bitter, but not bad. A pretty good IPA, however at 10 bucks a sixer its pricey.

Subdued and not overly impressive on first taste but settled in decently by the end of the glass with nice piney and resin flavors ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
