Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Damn good IPA. Note that this was bottled in September 2011, which makes it that much more impressive. The aroma was somewhat faint with floral and sweetness. Nice copper amber color with small head. However, the carbonation was still at a good level. Medium weight with smooth character followed by crispness. The hops were piney and some citrus and very present and balanced. This held up well and was a pleasure to drink.

Pours a near clear body with a persistent light fawn hue. Inviting caramel-piney aroma with roasted notes and almond dust. Soft herbal slightly roasted malts, thin grass, wooden resin, making a fine blended move towards a herbal wooden resiny soft lingering finish. Soft carbonation, good body, roasted malt-juicy incl hops. 33cl tap @Hildr Gastrobar

35.5cl bottle at Brewerkz, Riverside Point, Singapore on 10/05/15, poured into a tulip glass. Clear amber in colour with a thin white head. Medium carbonation. Hoppy citrus aroma. Fantastic flavours on the palate - floral hops, tropical fruits, malt and caramel. Long bitter and dry finish. Excellent. A well balanced IPA.

Rated based on notes taken 15 Apr 2012 -- Drank from the bottle in Pueblo at IFS. This is an outstanding IPA. More of an American earthy variety, but extremely well done none-the-less.

Bottle, 355 ml from New Beer Distributors, NYC. Shared with JFK10000 and Miro. Pours hazy orange with off-white head. Lots of hops, very grassy, bit piney. Maybe bit salty. Long and strong bitter dry finish. Loved the hoppy character, bit unusual and different probably due to grassiness.

Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of delicious fresh citrus hops. There’s just enough malt in there to balance things out and it goes down nice and easy.

On tap at Smelteverket, Oslo. Clear deep golden to amber with a moderate, off-white head. Hoppy, fruity and slightly piney and spicy aroma with caramel, citrus and hints of honey, grass and cat pee. Sweeter than expected and probably not the freshest one, but flavourful and quite well balanced. Tasty, but would like to try it fresher. Certainly a decent IPA.
