Hazy copper, creamy head leaves good lacing. Aroma has citrus, pine, fruity with balancing bitterness, bit roasted caramel malting under this. Flavor is crispy and refreahing, Semisweet and bitter, medium body, low carbonation, soft feel, tasty long finish gets more malty and bitter towards end. Nice one, tasty, lively and nuanced but also fresh.

Strange smellin ipa but really tasty. Nicely hoppy and pretty bitter. Pours a dark yellow color.

Draught at Harris Grill. Poured red amber with minimal head. Slight citrus aroma. Quite smooth. Slightly bitter malty taste.

Not much of an aroma. Pours clear golden yellow with an off white head. Lots of floral hops and well balanced.

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2013 Draught @ Olutravintola Kukko, Kemi. Deep copper coloured beer, white head. Piney and hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty taste with strong dry bitterness. Tasty dry IPA, not a tropical fruity one.

Draft at Sweetwater in Boynton Beach, FL. Tulip. Deep orange brown pour with medium off-white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, resin, fresh cut grass. Taste is first hoppy bitterness balanced by aggressive malts. Slightly sweet finish with mild dryness. The pine and citrus come through nicely. Really enjoyed this IPA from GD.

Bottle (12 oz). Thanks Tom! Clear orange with a medium white head and good lacing. Aroma is of caramel/malt, slightly piney and perfume notes. Taste is moderately sweet with a good malt backbone, caramel and piney notes and moderate bitterness. Medium body. Slightly dry. Alcohol completely hidden. Not a fruity IPA at all, but one of the best of his king. I usually don’t like IPA where the malt component is predominant, but this one is really well balanced and drinkable!

Pours dark orange with a fast fading white head leaving spotty lacing. Aroma is weak for an IPA, floral and pine notes, and sweet malt, underwhelming. Taste is better, with a more bitter pine bite, but its got a lot of malt and takes away from the hops I’m wanting. its not toobad.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent orange with sticky off-white lacing. Smells of well-balanced hops with a sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. A solid IPA.
