COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Amber body with a bubbly white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is actually a bit sweet with citrus, malt, and flowers. Surprisingly smooth and easy to drink. Sweet entry with sugared grapefruit and caramel leads to a wonderfully bitter finish with grapefruit and pine. A very good IPA.

Bottle. Light copper with a lasting head. Big piney dankness and a kiss of citrus on the nose. Medium mouthfeel. Starts hoppy with a rich malty sweetness carrying you back to a hoppy kick. Lots of resinous and citrus notes. Crisp. Quite enjoyable.

12oz bottle bottled Feb 19, 2014. Pours a near clear copper with a one finger, off white head that laces well. Aroma is probably a bit faded. Slightly bready with a touch of caramel, citrus, resin, tropical fruits, and pine. Taste is bitter but balanced. Notes of resin, pine, tropical fruit, and a short, slightly alcohol finish. Medium-full body with with a medium carbonation. Slight syrup/resin texture in the mouth. Smooth and easy to drink. Overall really nice. I wish the bottle was fresher but still solid flavours in an easy drinking package.

It has a hazy and pale orange gold color with an off white head. The head has good retention and leaves lots of sticky lacing all over the glass. The aroma has a light mix of sweet malt and even lighter earthy hops. I thought this was a little odd for an IPA to have more maltiness then hop notes in the aroma. There is a good bit of fruity and bready maltiness up front here with just enough bitterness and earthy green plant like hop flavor to give it some balance towards an IPA. The body and carbonation are right on but I am finding myself trying to like this one.

Very citrusy IPA. Pours orange with great head and lacing. Some light malt background and a light sour/medium bitter finish. Soft carbonation. Tap at Black Squirrel.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Excellent Little Brother for the bottle! Clear dark gold with white head. A little grainy, then hops, delicate citrus and floral aroma. Bitter, hoppy, ripe citrus and rather mild taste. Medium-bodied, bitter and rather dry finish.

On tap @ Super Deli Mart. Pours light golden copper with thin white head. Aroma is sweet fruity malt and a hint of dry hops. Taste is thick chewy sweet malt with nicely floral earthy hops on the back. Surprisingly malt-driven for an IPA, but quite tasty nonetheless.

Amazing. This beer is so great. Tastes great with no lingering aftertaste. So good. I can't wait to have it again. Oh wait, I got 5 more!
