jameswolfe (88), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Sep 13, 2007 This little gem ended what I call a "beer slump." I havent had anything that impressed me in awhile and then this comes along. Great scent of Pine and orange. Very bitter with a fresh hop taste in my mouth that lasts long after swallowing. ONe of the best IPAs Ive ever tasted.
Jblauvs (118), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Jul 26, 2008 Golden amber pour. off white head leaves slight dissipates. piney hop aroma, slightly bitter. citusey, bitter hop tastes. Not bad, drinkable, a bit unremarkable. craftycarl21 (125), USA Jul 26, 2008 golden pour, but with a nice frothy head. aroma is almost exclusively hops with woody hints. Flavor is straight IPA, but really well done- hops are well balanced. hops stick to the tongue nicely. Extremely drinkable, really tasty. chimp_lechamp (338), glasgow, Scotland Jul 25, 2008 bottle- pours clear copper golden white head. lacing. nose is resinous hops, pine, grapefruit, taste is similar to bigfoot. big juicy hops. piney grapefruit, long tasting incredebly well balanced. really drinkable. nqualls (17), Tennessee, USA Jul 22, 2008 I was REALLY disappointed in this beer. Like several before me, I was expecting a hoppy beer. This beer was bland and tasteless considering the label. Overall not a bad beer, but when you are expecting something similar to Hopslam or 90 min IPA, its a let down. spikester (364), Salem, Oregon, USA Jul 21, 2008 Deep amber with one inch cream color head. Floral hop aroma, some pine. Taste is a blast of grapefruit rind, pine needles, resins. Some sweet malt but hard to find. Here is an IPA that is just too bitter for me. I give! Bottled the 4th week of February.
