3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Have wanted to try this for a long time. Love the brewery. Now the beer.
A beautiful rocky head that clings to the glass in chunks. Golden orange and clear body.
Surprisingly some bready, nutty notes immediately apparent with the citrus and apricot aroma. Pleasant.
Taste is very balanced and smooth. Malty sweetness with average bitterness. Hops are grassy and fresh-tasting.
The texture is very soft almost pillowy. I was expecting a little rougher texture so I donít know what to make of it except enjoyment.
The beer goes down so easy. But the memory of it lingers long afterwards. Body is medium-to-full. Not an imperial, but close. Excellent brew. I was not disappointed.

Lingering finish which I like, just might make it a better beer to eat with a nice meal versus drinking by itself.

Poured out Amber. 14įSRM.
Nose is sweet, beery and malty. Overripe fruit. Early fermenting grain. Light berry aroma.
Mouthfeel is soapy. Palate has deeply toasted malt. Hops are middling in flavor and intensity.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Keg BD Shepherds Bush . Pours light tan/giold with full creamy head. Aroma of bread, hint of chocolate strangely, warm wood. Smells comfy if thatís not too weird. Taste is full and very complex: beautiful balance of bitterness, sweetness, dry finish, slightly tart. All sorts of shit going on, fruit, white chocolate, herbs, malt and loads of hops. Lovely. A great big hug of a beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can poured into pint glass with blonderedhead. This one is pretty clear with hues of gold and orange. Half finger initially of white head that is quick to dissipate. Aroma isnít overwhelming but has standard pine, a light citrus quality, and a hint of caramel. Taste has a soft mouthfeel at the onset with the malty and caramel backbone taking center stage. It gives way to a hoppy finish with a decent bitterness. There are characteristics of orange and pine resin present as well. I would put this more towards the malty end of the IPA spectrum and thatís a trait that appeals directly to me. Add this to the stable of IPAs worthy of keeping stocked for go-to consumption.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottledate 13-1-16. Poured from the bottle. Clear almost amber beer. Aroma of hop, malt and mango. Taste of malt, hop, mango snd orange. No strong taste, smooth. I wonder (well, know) that this IPA is better tasting when drank nearer the bottle-date, which us now 6 months.

Clear, dark brown colour and some tan lacing. Aroma is malty, fruity, has orange, sweetness and some caramel. Taste is a bit mild, ends in a hoppy finish. Smooth mouthfeel, weak body, low carbonation. Itís a solid IPA but not that great.
