Great Divide Vanilla Bean Yeti Imperial Stout

Draught from gravity cask at GD tap room. Pours oily dark brown colour with a frothy lighter film around the edges. Aroma dominated by vanilla but hints of candied fruit and anise in the background. Slippery mouthfeel. Big vanilla in the flavour too but also some whiskey and chocolate with a nice touch of alcohol in the finish. Got lucky to try this offering.

Gravity cask @ Great Divide tasting room poured a translucent dark brown nearly black with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of vanilla, dark fruit, light chocolate and a hint of licorice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dfry finish. Flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, fruittiness and light roastiness with a smooth dry warming finish.
