3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 JMerritt (1602) - Macomb, USA - DEC 18, 2005
Cranberry-brown in color with a massive, frothy head that has quite excellent staying power. Lots of yeast chunks floating around and stuck within the head, I had to look twice as I thought they may had been raspberry seeds. (Probably should have poored more carefully; thankfully the chunklets all settled to the bottom). Quite a tart raspberry aroma. Raspberry tartness is much more subdued in the flavor, as the sweet malt really runs (ruins?) the show. The fruitiness of this is surprisingly and disappointingly low, resulting in a rather bland-tasting beer. Carbonation level is too high as well, contributing to the problem. I’m usually a sucker for fruit beers that use real fruit in the process, but sadly this one falls on its face.

Heavy raspberry aroma. Very light beer. Sweet flavor but not too much to it. A nice lighter beer.

Pored into pint glass. Poured nice frothy head with color dark brown / copper. Raspberry ice tea is the nose. Truly fruity with heavy flavors of eating fresh raspberries. Some bitter malt there too for a good balance. Not bad!

part of a mix pack. foggy light red/pink color. aroma was pretty nice raspberry and the taste was of the kind but set off with a good balance of wheat and real beerness. Refreshing and light fruitiness.
1.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 gills12 (1) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - APR 25, 2012 does not count
Pours a caramel red color with a thick head if poured with gusto. Head quickly dissipates leaving only thin leftovers. The smell is off. A little sour, definite malt characters and slight mark of hay. The taste leaves little to be excited about. I couldn’t get over the awful metallic taste which i awesome was supposed to be a shot at rasberries.
I first starting drinking this freezing cold. As it warms the smells become a lot more pleasant and the rasberries are very distinct, taste remains unpleasant though. I wanted to like it because the rest of Great Divides selection has really impressed me.

Pours a ruby/orange haze with a short-lived off white finger of head. Smells fresh - soft fruits, crisp greens, smells like spring. Taste nearly mirrors the nose. Very subtle tartness that comes with the fruit. A very approachable, balanced fruit beer. Don’t mind getting a few of these in a mixer.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 boxofrane (417) - pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 21, 2012
Bottle. Pours a reddish brown with a puffy white head. Aroma is full of raspberries. The taste is fruity and full of carbonation. This is not a fruit beer i’d recommend.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 BVery (2557) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - MAR 15, 2012
Bottle. Orange/pink pour with a white head that dissipates quickly. Nose was actually quite mild - lager with a hint of raspberry. Palate is a tad thin. Taste was dull - kind of flat, raspberry didn’t really pop out at all. I’m wondering how old this bottle is.
