COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide’s Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti’s hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Bottle 66cl @ Home.
Clear dark black color with a large, creamy, excellent lancing, fully lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, mild and dark chocolate, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft. Very nice ;O)) (070608)

A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma is of coffee, chocolate, and roasted malt and it is the same notes coming from the flavor. This is a great beer. Thanks to Mads Berg for sharing this one.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours black and opaque - almost tar-like - with a light brown, dissipating head. Fat aroma of hard roasted malt. Extremely solid body with lots of sweetish, burned malt with a very distinct bitterness. A tough beer to drink and digest. 171106

Bottled. Extremely black with dark brown. Licorice aroma. Very sweet, intensely malty. A lot of grapefruity hops. Some coffee and an aromatic bitter finish. Full bodied and packed with flavour, I would still make it less sweet. Many thanks to hopsrus for sending this and many other great beers!

Black color; the head reduces quickly, but leaving a nice lace. The aroma is a wonderful mix of hops and roasted malt, dark chocolate. Dense flavor, fat roasted malt (and caramel, malt) flavor, some cardboard, maybe glue, alcohol feeling; in the end offering notes of cookies, coffee, strong liquorice; powerful body. Prepotent bitterness, in a long final, with a lot of roasted malt. Huge.

Blackest color; dark brown thick head. Strong aroma: malt, roasted malt, light liquorice. Good structure, not too thick, not too oily; extreme roasted malt character, with coffee, liquorice; very strong hopping with hidden aromas.
Chewy coffee; extremely balanced. Give me more!
