22oz bomber poured into a snifter. Pour is opaque black, and very thick. There’s a small brown head of thick, large bubbles and it dissipates quite quickly. Aroma is as thick as the beer - dark roasted malts with chocolatey notes with a touch of resinous hops. Take a drink and it’s just as thick as you’d expect it to be with tastes of roasted malts and coffee that finishes with a nice hop bitterness. Pretty well balanced with the caramelized sweetness of the malts offset by the hops. Very good beer.

Nov 21, 2008 Very rich, complex imperial stout. It stands out because of the hints of honey, toffee, and nougat. Also, the grapefruit/citrusy/piney hops can be detected throughout the beer. They lend a nice resiny, oily mouthfeel. It is a great beer, and easy to drink.

Nov 20, 2008 11/3/08 notes: bomber, from CT Beverage. Pours deep black-brown with a finger-and-a-half of tan head. Aroma is rich of roasts, dark chocolate, sweet brown sugar, and coffee. Palate is a serenely smooth and creamy, with just a mild carbonation. Palate is almost in deference to the amazing flavors present. Flavors begin with rich vanilla and liquid dark chocolate, transitioning to a coffee profile. Finish lingers on a mocha-sweet note, with a delicious roasty flavor. This blend lingers tastefully, long enough to hold me over ‘til the next sip. It is a toss up whether Yeti or his oak-aged brother is superior. Different but equal, I’ll settle for.

Nov 20, 2008 A big tasty stout that doesnt really stand out in the crowd but doesnt carry anything that detracts from the taste. There is a touch of dark natural sweetness that is great and doesnt come from being yeasty. A good dark thick pour at a tasty price.

Nov 18, 2008 22oz bottle. Thanks to BeerandBlues2, thanks Brad. Extremely dark pour, brown head. Nice chocolatly aroma, rich, full of dark malty goodness. Nice coffee flavor, a little bitter, but very nice.

Nov 17, 2008 Pitch black body with a nice thick finger of dark chocolate colored head. Heavy roasted aroma, chocolate and herbal hops. Luscious silky feel. Taste is heavy roasted malt and burned toast up front then dark malt and hop bittering finish.
