4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours as black as night with a caramel colored head. This is going to be a good one. Smells overwhelmingly of coffee.. maybe a bit of roasted nut as well. Mouthfeel is amazing and goes down easy. Taste is exceptional. Coffee, caramel, toffee, malty.... .one of the very best beers I’ve ever had -- period.. and with a fudge brownie. Incredible.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle courtesy of Pix as an anniversary pressie. Pours inky black with a nice tan head. This is one good looking beer. The aroma is black treacle and chocolate. The flavpur starts with a little spice with sweet coffee and dark chocolate before more bitter flavours come in with black treacle and toffee. Creamy mouthfeel. Pretty special.

På tap Bishops örebro. Svart vätska med beiget skum. Bra tryck i doften av rostad malt. Även kaffe. Smaken även den med mycket kaffe och rostade toner. Fin krämig kropp med lätt torr eftersmak. Värmande alkohol

Good stuff, but I think that they overdid it on the hops. On the other hand, nice to have an extra hoppy variation on the style for a change. I like the special versions of Yeti more (esp. the Oatmeal one).

Wow. Just gorgeous. Beautiful burnt auburn head. Just the right amount of carbonation. All the right flavors of an imperial stout. Very initially muted bitterness but comes on later in the aftertaste....in a good way. My favorite imperial stout to date.

2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled March 25, 2015. This stuff pours black as pond sludge. Extremely heavy on the palette. Overpoweringly rich with black coffee notes and bitterness. Sipped thru half a glass hoping it’d get better, bit it didn’t. Pitched it. Not worth the coin.
