COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Divide’s Yeti Imperial Stout is an onslaught of the senses. An almost viscous, inky-black brew, Yeti opens with a massive, roasty, chocolate, coffee malt flavor that eventually gives way to rich toffee and burnt caramel notes. Packed with an enormous quantity of American hops, Yeti’s hop profile reveals a slightly citrusy, piney, and wonderfully dry hoppy finish. 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Oily black stout. The initial stout flavours are quickly blown out of the water by the massive hoppyness! Drinkable and warming though!

This one is really classy. Cream and soda mixed up with some coffee and roasted malt. The big ABV makes that one even more interesting. I could not have imagined a better one to start a saturday evening.

Bottle from Meilby - thank you so much for this gem, Kenni! The beer pours out in a deep black colour with low, beige-brown head and medium body. Aroma of chocolate and torf. Taste of strong coffee, espresso, dark chooclate, nuts, dark bread and plums. Dry finish. Highly quaffable beer - big enjoyment.

On tap. Appearance: black color, two fingeers of oatmealy black head, ok lacing. Aroma: alcohol, coffee, chocolate, light roast, light flora. Palate: full body, soft carbonation, alcohol and oily texture, bitter lasting finish. Taste: sweet chocolate start, great transition into light bitter finish. Overall, one of the best. Nuff said

Bottle aged for 1 year. Smoke and toffee in the nose, maybe some light hop aromas. Lots of smoke and ash in across the palate with a very long dry ash finish. The hops are there in the aromas but the bitter feels more like really dark chocolate. This beer has a lot to offer and I personally think it needs another year to mellow out a little to allow the sweeter notes to come forward.

Black with good brown head for 9.5%. Roasty aroma, some wood, coffee, bitter chocolate, earthy leather. Taste of pumpernickel, coffee, a lot of roast, great hop background which gives a slightly piney and a earthy input, with a mellow bitterness which is still decent but doesn’t hold back. Very nice mouthfeel and good drinkability.

Dark brown almost Black colour work a very thin Brown head and a roasted aroma. The taste is heavy and roasted too with a slight bitterness in the after taste. I am not a big fan of stiuts but this is a good one.

12 oz bottle poured a dark, thick black with a thin head. Strong roasted coffee aroma. Intense coffee and bittersweet coffee flavors with a good amount of hop bitterness. Thick oily mouth feel. This is everything an impy stout should be. Awesome beer!

Tried a number of times both bottled and on tap. A staple in the imperial-stout category that never disappoints.

Svart med mørk brunt skum. Lukter kaffe og mørk sjokolade, mørk stenfrukt og noe røyk. Smaker kaffe og sjokolade, fløteaktig munnfølelse. Lang god ettersmak.
