COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle Conditioned, regular;
Originally brewed in conjunction with the Trail magazine, Trail ale is best described as a light, bright, quaffable walker’s ale. Fully brewed using pure Wasdale spring water, it is designed to refresh and replenish after a tasting adventure - and where better to have that adventure than the Lake District’s brooding Wasdale valley? It’s high peaks, deep lake. small church and famous inn have inspired climbers and walkers for generations.

Bottle kindly picked up by my dad, from a farmers market in Belper, Derbyshire, cheers dad Pours mid gold, clear with a white head. Some w’ up liq’ type smells on the nose (and this wasn’t from a poorly rinsed glass) it actually had a tinge of chemicallyness in the mouth also, felt like the flavour had been blanched out of this beer, tasted like a weak and uninteresting beer not really my thing.
