3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at the wasdale head inn, discribed to me as a strong mild, however having had it its defo a stout. Alround rating: Roasted malts, darker fruits, burnt toast, alc is felt less than tasted which is handy. Too roasty for me, but a well made beast all the same.

Half pint pulled at the brewery’s pub - The Wasdale Head Inn - at Wasdale Head (Lake District). Dark with red tints and a yellowish foamy head. Strong roasetd coffee aroma. An enjoyable coffee flavour and very smooth. Yum.
