Cask @ Fox @ Goose, Hebden Bridge. Black with a thin creamy off-white head. Has some roasted malt aroma, but it’s not very stated, although it’s slightly more so in its taste.

On tap in BeerCab. Nice color so black. Small and off head. Chocolate aroma, hoppy notes too. Medium-high bitterness, milk-chocolate and grapeful in taste. Medium-high body. Roasty-bitter finish.

Bottle. Black with tan head. Roasty aroma of coffee and chocolate. Taste is similar, roasty with some resinous pine in the finish. Decent body with a mild bitterness. Decent but perhaps used to be hoppier

Had this in bottle at Sytches Campsite, Much Wenlock, Shropshire, Thursday 21st August 2014 Pours more a very dark very brown as opposed to black, there is a good clarity. Roasted malts but smooth leading into a pleasant hoppiness. Tangy with a slender zippiness. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

A very dark IPA, had a pint on draft at a fine establishment known as "The Maltings" in South Shields. A strong drink in all senses really. Knocks ya teeth out.

330ml bottle (Birofilia2014, Zywiec)
Black, a bit watery loose head. Soft sweet roast aroma. Some sharpness - aggressive hops. Simple malts, not fermented enough, mashy and a bit messy. Hops decent, but not shining. Meh. A slightly hop-forward dark beer, that’s all.

Rewo (59) - Katowice, POLAND - JUL 16, 2014
Black with tan lasting head. Aroma dominated by sweet tropical fruits and apples, followed by some roasted malts, which however get intro the front row in the taste - roast, sunflower seeds and some coffee, followed by light/medium citrus bitterness and ashy aftertaste. Smells great but the taste could’ve been more complex and bitter.

330ml bottle. Dark brown color. Tiny yellow head, disappears. Malty, sweet, candy, raisins in aroma. Raisins, caramel, faint hops in taste. Soft carbonation. Medium bitterness. Clean mouthfeel.
