Hand-pulled half-pint in ’Far From The Madding Crowd’ Oxford on 23rd Nov 13.
No head on my dark brown pour (wasn’t in the greatest condition to be fair).
Malts lead the way with this session ale, slight chocolate feel to both the nose and taste but generally pretty tasteless and forgettable. I might be being unkind because I nearly took it back as it was obviously on it’s last legs.
Fairly smooth for a Bitter with very little actual hop bitterness, or there wasn’t at the end of the barrel my half came from.

Cask at GBBF. Light brown beer. A little malt and a little hops. Inoffensive but just another boring English bitter.
