Cask gravity, Leicester BF, 09/03/12. Dank citrus, dishcloth aroma. Shining straw, loose top. Well-squeezed pithy grapefruit, black Darjeeling flavour with some honeying balance, but not much. Lean and punching, uncomplicated, stripped of malt sweetness. Bitter linger, dab of quinine, neat cordial. A welcome, lifting smack in the face. Beer of The Day So Far....

Cask at Holyrood. As ?Angel.? Beautifully clear golden pour, tight white head sticks around. Light fruits, grapefruit and lemon some real biscuity, sweet but weird yeasty notes. Touch of diacetyl perhaps. Soft dry fruits, touch of grapefruit, touch of really dry lager malt flavours, long puckering grapefruit bitterness. Decent.
