On cask at Cloisters, Pours a light golden colour with a thick white head. A very yeasty aroma with some caramel malt also. Similar flavours with grassy hops to finish. Mildly bitter with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel.

Cask gravity, Leicester BF, 09/03/12. Dank citrus, dishcloth aroma. Shining straw, loose top. Well-squeezed pithy grapefruit, black Darjeeling flavour with some honeying balance, but not much. Lean and punching, uncomplicated, stripped of malt sweetness. Bitter linger, dab of quinine, neat cordial. A welcome, lifting smack in the face. Beer of The Day So Far....

Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of lemon and grassy, floral hops. Fairly thin on the malt side. Light body, rather dry. Possibly not remarkable, but highly drinkable and refreshing.
