(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 24 Apr 2013) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with apricots, citrus and grassy hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of apricots, citrus, grass, biscuity malt and a generous grapefruit bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

Cask conditioned handpump Southampton Arms London 22/04/13. A golden beer with a good white head and lace. A lovely citrussy hoppy beer. Nice lemon and grapefruit noted. Good malt baclbone makes it well balanced. Well brewed and easy to drink. Nice stuff.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold with white head. Hoppy, dry, bitter, Golden Ale, nicely fruity, grapefruit and pomegranate flavours. Good depth, long on the palate, really very good and full. Decent.

Pint at Fitzgeralds Sunderland. Bright golden body, dense white head. Grass and pine aroma, nutty caramel malts, zesty bitter resinous hops. Juicy palate, bitter finish. Golden/Blond that is edging close to an IPA and a good one at that.

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Really very good indeed. A genuinely hoppy, sweet and well balanced drop. LIKED.

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a golden colour with a decent white head. Aroma of pine, grassy hops, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Nicely bitter with lingering pine again.
