Drunk with Dom. There’s no magic rock in my cock. Though, that’s not what the laydeeeezzzz say. Ahem. Nicely hoppy and a bit of a treat. Abused the lovely man at the deli on the way home. Sorry Lewis, though your waistcoat was a bit poncey. Nothing wrong with poncey eh Dan?

Cask-conditioned at the Hope & Anchor, Bristol 4/3/2015. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. Aroma of grapefruit and apricot, with some grassy hops. Flavour had more tropical fruits, biscuity malts and a decent, dryish, finish. Good.

On cask @ the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - orange and grapefruit. Taste - more nice tangy orange. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - yep another well nailed ipa by Great Heck.

Cask. Slightly hazy yellow, still, small bubbly white head. Aroma is cheesy, some mango-y hop. Body is medium to light, watery texture, smooth, low carbonation. Taste is pithy lemon, grapefruit, medium bitterness. Nicely flavoured but it’s borderline watery - something a bit thin about it. I don’t think it would take a great deal of poor condition to ruin this one.

Cask by handpump, half pint at Brigantes Bar & Brasserie. Stable pearl white head, good lacing. Hazy golden coloured body. Aroma of citrus, semi-dry. Moderate flavour of leafy hops and brown malts. Smooth bitter endnotes, mid-dry. Feels a bit watered in the mouth (York 10.07.2014).
