Cask (gravity dispense) at the Bricklayers Arms Yorkshire Beer Festival on 23 February 2011. Very dark brown. Almost black. Too dark to see easily whether it was cloudy. Loose beige head. Fairly lively condition. Dry with quite strong bitterness lingering into the aftertaste. Not much vanilla in evidence and I didn’t think the wheat beer yeast made much of an impact either. Dry, clean and rather austere. Pretty decent overall.

Cask gravity at the Dudley Winter Beer festival. Pours near pitch black with no head. Aroma is wheat, some banana and faint roasted malt. Taste was wheat and faint banana to start. Roasted malt and wheat to finish. Could be a bit fuller.
