Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, candy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, candy, sugary sweet, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is flat.

Cask at the Guildford arms. Pours clear amber, nose is cheesy toffee, light fruit, taste is sweet, dry, rich toffee, cheesy, sweet.

Pours copper with a small, short lived head. Aroma of a whisky mash, specifically that of Talisker. Taste of malt with a bitter finish. Not the greatest nor worst ipa.

Bottle from real ale store Newark. Clear slightly hazy amber colour thin off white head. Some caramel on the aroma. Decent grapefruit hop in the mouth. Very drinkable and hides abv well. Some bitterness on the finish. Rather good I thought and a well balanced ipa.

Bottle. Amber with white head. Aroma has a lot of toffee and biscuit, little, lots of resinous pine and grapefruit. Taste of toffee, biscuit, molasses and resin. Quite bitter

500ml bottle from The Real Ale Store, Newark. Pours gold with little head. Nice hop aroma. Solid, dry malt body taste with a hint of nuts and a bitterness in the finish.

Pours an clear and golden/orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity, malty and hoppy grapefruit aroma.Flavor is mostly malty with little hoppy grapefruit. Bitter is herbal and pine hops. Nicely fruity and crisp hoppy with bitter and dry finish.

Bottle from Lion’s Den, Yarm. Pours amber with a white head. Big hop flavour in this over a rich, sweet caramel malt base. Bitter flavours of pine, tropical fruits and a touch of spiciness. Very nice.
