Draft. Poured cloudy copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Complex spice, fruit and yeast aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy spice sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a refreshing good beer.

On tap at MacGregor’s Amherst. Very malty. Lacy sheet. Smooth but boozy not so fruity or spicy.

Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. The beer is a hazy straw color with a medium thin white head and spotty lacing. Aroma of yeast and fruit. Medium to full body with flavors of earthy yeast, fruit and spices. The finish is fruity with a sweetly spiced aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft. Nice spiciness, clean but yeast, light esters, good malt honeyness, one of the better ones made in the us.

Sampled at GABF on Saturday October 13, second session
As "Belgian Triple Dog Dare".
Hazy honey yellow color, big off-white head. Sweet, banana, esters scent. Sweet, loads of clove and phenolic taste. Alcohol and clove aftertaste. Warming alcohol. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Pour on tap at GABF, hazy orange pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of candied white fruit, caramel, toffee, into slight earth, slight spice in there with a touch of vanilla, hints of pepper, slight clove and banana as well. Taste is a mix of white fruit, banana, bubblegum and clove into hints of earth, grass and grainy notes, slight biscuit, bread in there, candied fruits, finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry.

On tap at Cincinnati Winter Beer Fest (CWBF) 2013. Mildly hazy yellow orange color. Thin white head, little dots of lace. Tropical fruit and big banana nose. Bigger body, smooth lighter carbonation, creamy texture. More sweet taste, lightly tangy. Interesting, unique tripel

Tap at the brewpub as Triple Dog Dare. Hazy orange pour with a big white head. Spicy yeast nose. Medium palate. Taste is yeast and citrus. Excellent.

Draft at Dutch’s. Pours a clear orange golden color with a thin white film. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, Belgian candy sugar, ripe fruits, light spice, yeast, just a touch of bitterness to the finish, the alcohol remains well hidden. The finish is a bit soft. Decent, but not a style that excites me.
