Cask days 2013. Pours a translucent, pale yellow with a white, ring head. Aroma has notes of lemon rind, orange rind, and some farmhouse funk. Slightly acidic. Taste is a citrus bitter with a short, funky aftertaste. Low-medium body and carbonation. Watery in the mouth from the cask. Overall not bad but not my thing. A bit too acidic for me.

[Cask at ’Cask Days 2013’.] Beer #15 of the fest. Pours a murky yellow-copper with a small lasting bubbly white head. Really nice aroma is yeasty and hoppy along with some herbs and citrus fruit -- simple but pleasant. Flavour of Belgian yeast, citrus, a good amount of hops and herbs and a moderate bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Good stuff, lots of flavour.

2013-10-19. Hazy dark pastel yellow body with a small frothy white head. Aroma is pleasant but mild, light bretty funk, mild fruit and pale malt. 7+ Flavour is similar moderate generic fruit and lemon citrus, pale malt, very mild bretty funk. Average bodied palate, soft carbonation. Very light funk throughout. Quite enjoyable but could use just a touch more oomph all around, probably a bit more bretty funk to better distinguish it from the regular version?. Session 2, Cask Days 2013, Toronto

A hazed golden saison with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett, banana, light lemon notes. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with light buttery notes, banana, Brett and cork. OK. Cask Days 2013.
