On tap at WVRST tap takeover. Cascade aroma, not the puzzler’s balance. Back with a bubble head, big roast, carbonation, and these characteristics dominate the hopping. good drinkability

On tap at WVRST for November Project X. Pours a thick black, with a huge dark beige head. Aroma is hoppy and sweet, slight hints of coffee. Palate: medium bodied, very dry. Taste: Starts off semisweet, quickly moves to a dry, bitter finish. Overall not as complex as I’d hoped, but definitely enjoyable.

Smells hoppy, roast malty. Pours pitch black with greatt, lasting foamy head and thick carpet of lacing. Aroma also has booze and caramel. Taste is bitter, a little sweet and a bite of spiciness. On tap at volos.

On cask. Black pour, thick brown head. Boozy, licorice, espresso, roasted malt aromas. Underneath there is a hint of grapefruit. Oily, with spotty lacing. Nice balance and complex. Great roasted malt and nutty flavors. Long bitter hoppy finish. Booze well hidden. Great stuff. Another one I love from GLB this year.

Love, love,love. A hop–splosion in my mouth and great for date night. Just enjoyed spaghetti and homemade meatballs and washed the ballsy salty taste from my mouth with this delicious dark IPA. Can’t wait for the next sip to flow down my throat. Totally recommend this beer.

Very dark blackish brown pour with light brown head wafts powerful hops. Getting nice grapefruit-citrus and cat pee hop aromas. Smell big malts which play into flavors dominated by a very solid hop punch. Tons of dryness in palate and finish, luckily this one doesn’t run away with one-note dryness GL can definitely lean towards and maintains some richness and balance in the ’middle.’ You don’t want a hollow middle. Dark fruit, a little coffee, wow just lots of fat brazen hops. It’s quite the fix. Thanks GL for these adventuresome new "American" beers!
