Pours clear blond with foamy head and a little lacing. Aroma has lots of citrus with some orange, almost a little candy. Some bitterness and a slight touch of sourness at the end. Carbonation is pretty high. Nice mouthful of beer. On tap at volos.

Recent bottle from the brewery. A bang on farmhouse. Golden yellow with abundant white bubbly head. Funky all right in the smell. Very fresh taste and its yummy. Yeasty, smooth drinkable.

(sample on tap at Bryden’s, Toronto as Great Lakes Deliverance) Bright yellow gold pour. Interesting nose, grapefruit (fruit more than zest like from hops), tart red berries, light yeast. Flavour light grain body, grapefruit/lemon juice, very tart berries (cran/raspberry?), a little spice. Light body, acidic character, soft carbonation. The tart, juicy aromas and flavours from open fermentation combined with a non-invasive farmhouse-style body make for a tasty, unique and drinkable beer.

Pale straw-coloured pour. The aroma is light ad citrusy with soft notes of spice as well. A touch of tropical hop aroma. Fresh and citrusy. Light bodied and dry with a great fresh tropical Citra hop flavour on the finish. Very bright and quite tasty. A solid, solid brew.

On tap at Wvrst. Nice light yellow colour with lasting head. Nice aroma, fruity and spicy. Very nice saison.

Unfiltered amber blond with small white head, aroma lemony with fresh grass. Hoppy dry taste with pale tree fruit and a lemony tang of citrus, some pith. Bit of spiciness and wet earth, hint vanilla, finish has bitter-tart lemon and bitter-dry hops.

On tap at Bar Volo. Appearance: Proud orange, medium thick white head. Aroma: Decent amount of hops, lemon, yeast, good ’farm house’ (never sure how to explain that). Flavour: bitter, lemons, lots of wheat, sticky.

May 2, 2012 - on draught at Volo. Really attractive bright hazy light banana yellow with a fairly large lasting white creamy/fizzy head. Pungent aroma (catty, almost citra-like) with tart fruit and light spice/yeast - really good stuff, not boozy, not too sweet - really good. Taste follows - light grain background, not as catty, more wheat/flour, the fruit seems to be green strawberry or raspberry, quite sharply tart, it works well with the yeast, even cranberry pucker there - and hardly any alcohol character. Light body, quite acidic, decent but mild carbonation, finishes dry and acidic - just right on the palate, a terrific saison. Well done, GL.

On tap at Volo (as Great Lakes Deliverance). Pours a very lightly cloudy bright golden yellow with modest-sized white head. Aroma is lemon, other fruit and light spice. Flavour is lemon, apple, pear, light spice and grains. Dry finish. Refreshing.
