pours unclear light golden with a small white cap, some retention and lacing. belgian spices, fresh citrus, peel, ginger, tasty phenols, lean lightly spicy maltiness, sweat, pepper. light carbonation - could be brighter, light body, drying spicy-citrusy finish. pretty nice belgian ipa.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0.65 bottle. Hazy, yellow color and a small, white head. Aroma of hops, spices, citruses, as well as wheat, and bananas. Taste is much bitterer than expected with quite a lot of grapefruit-like sharpness but also with a generally fruity sweet note. Medium body, slick texture, and below-average carbonation. Finish is a tad more acidic, perhaps a bit dry too. Overall a pretty nice beer; I am quite partial to its aroma.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Great Lakes strikes again with another quality offering in their Tank 10 series. The nose is dank hops with some lighter fruity elements and a hint of yeast. Colour is a tan/grapefruit juice hybrid. The Belgian yeast and hops come out in a really nice balance. The yeastiness is clean and a bit peppery while the hops are juicy and fresh with lemon, grapefruit and tropical elements. A bready malt underpins this really nicely and a nice mid-range effervescence punches up the taste and leads to a nice fresh finish. Belgian IPAs are not my favourite style, but this one is winning me over.

Beautiful golden pour with a billowy head. Smells like spices and lemony citrus. Smooth on the tongue with more light citrus, some tropical fruit and biscuity malts. A little banana as well. Very tasty.

On tap at Bar Volo. Audrey Hopburn, love that name - A deep copper gold pour with a filmy head & good lacing. The nose is banana bread & light spice in the nose. It is full bodied with a soft mouthfeel giving an overall creamy funky fruity flavor - great.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft - Lots of citrus, sweet fruit and some yeasty notes. Cloudy gold with a goos white head. Lemon, citrus, light tartness, and a hoppy bitterness that ends yeasty sweet. Decent.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Strong aroma with lots of biscuity malts and citrus hops that mix to a somewhat astringent tropical scent of papaya, pineapple, mango, etc. Fairly low carbonation, finish is surprisingly mellow.

Tap at barhop. Toronto. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is sweet overripe tropical fruit and caramel, but it's fairly subtle. There's pine, light wood, wheat, marmalade, lemon, some grapefruit in the bitter finish. Good.
