Draught at at Rhino for Project X. Nov. 10, 2011. Pours a deep ruby-amber with a small long-lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is sugary sweet with sweet dark malt, banana, grain and wheat. Sweet flavour of wheat, grain, caramel malt, banana, a hint of tangy fruit and light spices. Average bodied. Well made but not my thing at all.

2011-11-10. Very dark brown-black small off white head. Herbal anise like character. Sweet dark malt, light yeasty touch. Flavour has less of the herbal notes, sweet malt has a dusty malt character that reminds me of something I can’t place. Light herbal character grows as it goes. 6+ Smooth average to light palate. Enjoyable but didn’t quite grab me today. On tap at Rhino for Project X

On tap at ProjectX at The Rhino. Creamy sessionable beer. Wit aroma. Soft mouthfeel. Sasaparlla. Hits the style. Licorice and mollasses in the finish. 15 IBU and the flavours of the ingredients above takes ones mind off hops. Blackish body with but little head.
