COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s been said that “Canada is the only country in the world that knows how to live without an identity.” This beer doesn’t help much with that crisis. From the fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image on the front of the can to the distinctly American style of the beer inside it – we’ve really made a mess of things. What have we done? Sorry.

Slightly redish gold pour, lots of bubbly head. Very strong bitter/tart grapefruit scent. The taste is about the same. That strong Pale ale grapefruity bitterness. I know some people love it. Sadly I’m not a big fan. I’m sure this is a great pale ale to fans of the style. Not for me though.

Okay gold body with decent carbonation and head. Plenty of heavy hops on the nose, clouding out all else. Flavour is overbearing hops to the extreme with just a hint of grains. That’s not a bad thing however. This is very good for a pale ale, reminds me of a better homebrew instead of a badly executed macrobrew.

Interesting. I was not sure what to make of the name. I get that you are Crazy, mad, insane, ect and that makes it hoppy.... This is a nice pale ale session beer.

Can. Despite the puerile name, this is a surprisingly well-made pale ale. Low expectations begin with the medium-gold appearance, while the gravel and high-hop aroma profile quickly raises those expectation. Gratifyingly full-bodied, generously bitter without being overblown, a gravel-like texture, and a pleasant dark chocolate nuance on the finish. I will drink again, just not ask for it by name...

can. Orange-gold colour, white head which leaves nice thick lacing. Aroma is hoppy, a little metallic. Taste is quite dry, pine/grapefuit hops, malt came through a bit as it warmed. Enjoyable.

Big ol’ can at Victor’s bracket box tasting at Paul’s. Pours a clear clean gold with a thin white head. Big crisp hops, clean and cool. Crisp and clean. Crackery grain and malt, toast and a crisp bitterness. Nice and easy drinking.

Can, brought & shared by Robbie from Kingston. Medium hazy golden amber, thick pillowy head with excellent retention. Nice hoppy aroma, piney, with underlying malty caramel. Equally malty and hoppy, earthy and piney, nice caramel malt. Tasty.
