can. Orange-gold colour, white head which leaves nice thick lacing. Aroma is hoppy, a little metallic. Taste is quite dry, pine/grapefuit hops, malt came through a bit as it warmed. Enjoyable.

Can, brought & shared by Robbie from Kingston. Medium hazy golden amber, thick pillowy head with excellent retention. Nice hoppy aroma, piney, with underlying malty caramel. Equally malty and hoppy, earthy and piney, nice caramel malt. Tasty.

473ml can (labelled as Crazy Canuck Pale Ale)
I tried this beer on June 10, 2011 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a translucent light golden amber with a this rocky tan coloured cap. The aroma is bready malt, and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is primarily citrusy hops, grain, and an odd perfumy flavour.

650 ml bomber. clear pale gold, medium white head. A Crazy Canuck American Pale winter seasonal, eh? Someone’s confused. Tastes like an IPA to me... this ones all hop. Lovely floral, spruce, and citrusy hoppy aroma, medium bitter taste with some malt hidden behind. Bitter finish.

Fairly light color for an an APA, but these things happen. Aroma is just %@*!ing fantastic. Citrus hops out the wazoo, just smells amazing. This smells like something id brew for myself! The taste is nearly as hoppy as the nose suggests, its a really fantastic hoppy beer! DAMN Great Lakes, awesome job!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml can. Bad name and one of the worst can designs I have ever seen. Almost enough to put me off of trying this ale. Seriously, looks like the packaging was designed by the brewer’s 12 year old kid.
But that’s immaterial, because the ale itself is a winner. A slight cloudiness in the pour which is a much lighter gold than I expected. Big fluffy head and a wonderful citrus aroma. Strong but not overwhelming bitterness that is balanced with a touch of breadiness. Only relative drawback - and this is probably by design - is that the body is a bit weaker than I’d prefer.
But an easy drinking, fairly robust ale. Recommended.
