COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version of a west coast pale ale pushes the boundaries much like the crazy canucks of the past. Weve brewed it for those who enjoy adventure and a departure from the ordinary. The result is a wildly hoppy aroma and lingering bitterness complemented by a soft bready malt flavour.

Pretty good APA. Very hoppy nose and on the flavor as well...maybe a bit much, but some malts came through as well.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2011 On tap at volo. The aroma coming off this cask was incredible. Amazing juicy citrucy aromas. Every citrus fruit imaginable is in here somehwere. Good solid malting keeping the mouthfeel and bitterness in check and light enough to make this a solid drinking beer. Refreshing, and exploding with flavor. A really great beer.

650ml from the lcbo. Amber pour with a fluffy white head. Im seeing alot of people talking about a buttery diacetyl aroma and flavor but Im not getting any. I guess I got lucky. A great citrus aroma with some juicy hops and a slight caramel maltiness. Quite bitter in the finish but the hops are really nice with some great citrus notes. Im really quite impressed.

Slightly redish gold pour, lots of bubbly head. Very strong bitter/tart grapefruit scent. The taste is about the same. That strong Pale ale grapefruity bitterness. I know some people love it. Sadly Im not a big fan. Im sure this is a great pale ale to fans of the style. Not for me though.

Okay gold body with decent carbonation and head. Plenty of heavy hops on the nose, clouding out all else. Flavour is overbearing hops to the extreme with just a hint of grains. Thats not a bad thing however. This is very good for a pale ale, reminds me of a better homebrew instead of a badly executed macrobrew.

Interesting. I was not sure what to make of the name. I get that you are Crazy, mad, insane, ect and that makes it hoppy.... This is a nice pale ale session beer.

Can. Despite the puerile name, this is a surprisingly well-made pale ale. Low expectations begin with the medium-gold appearance, while the gravel and high-hop aroma profile quickly raises those expectation. Gratifyingly full-bodied, generously bitter without being overblown, a gravel-like texture, and a pleasant dark chocolate nuance on the finish. I will drink again, just not ask for it by name...

can. Orange-gold colour, white head which leaves nice thick lacing. Aroma is hoppy, a little metallic. Taste is quite dry, pine/grapefuit hops, malt came through a bit as it warmed. Enjoyable.
