It’s been said that “Canada is the only country in the world that knows how to live without an identity.” This beer doesn’t help much with that crisis. From the fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image on the front of the can to the distinctly American style of the beer inside it – we’ve really made a mess of things. What have we done? Sorry.

Hazy orange body, rhick white foamy head. The aroma is very full, with grapefruit and orange, some flowers. Excellent palate, medium heavy. The taste is fruity as well, with a slow to start but long to mature and finish aftertaste that has hops and even some nuts. Wow!

Draft to pint glass at Grand Electric Grapefruit, pine and hops. Cloudy amber with a thin white head, long lasting head. Grapefruit and hops...well balanced malt. Interesting, but not great.

Cannette 473 ml. 5.2%. Couleur ambrée, mousse blanche-beige . Arôme de houblon frais et malt. J’adore les west coast Pale Ale. En bouche du houblon frais, de l’amertume, du malt. Excellente Pale Ale. Wow.

Damn good APA... Awesome citrus Aroma with grapefruit, light pine, orange peel and sweet pale malts. Flavor is pale malts, citrus hops, grapefruit, tropical fruits and good balance of bitterness throughout... Almost perfect for an APA.

Can from jerc, thanks Jeremy. Pours clear orange, thick white head, gorgeous lacing. Nose is big citrus, fresh rank hop cones, and earthy creaminess. Flavours are nettly hops, with loads of citrus and spice, nice balance, well-rounded. A quality brew from Ontario, blow me over.

650ml Bomber fresh from Brewery. Pours a gold-amber ale in my glass. Large puffy white cap with great retention and lacing qualities. Nose: citrusy, fruity with a deep caramel malt tone ( abundant Diacetyl too which becomes more dominant as the beer warms - butterscotch overwhelms when warmer) Slick mouth feel. Nice chew of bready sweet malts in front are balanced by light hopping Diacetyl is detectable in flavor more so than aroma but it is some what subdued by the malts . Finishes nicely with an increasing bittering and a great bready-bicuity maltiness...lingering bitterness. This is not an over the top intense Pale but one that is full of flavor and very drinkable...great session ale but the price is a tad steep for that. I really wanted to rate this higher but in spite of it’s great hopping and malt profile The diacetyl really is unforgivable in a beer marketed as premium with a premium price. They did this to me with the green tea ale as well and I really wanted to like that beer as well..
