COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Itís been said that ďCanada is the only country in the world that knows how to live without an identity.Ē This beer doesnít help much with that crisis. From the fiercely irresponsible stereotypical image on the front of the can to the distinctly American style of the beer inside it Ė weíve really made a mess of things. What have we done? Sorry.

Sample from tall can. Gold colour with decent white head. Aroma is grapefruit and some mild pine and floral. Taste is strong west coast hops without being too bitter and some mild light malt. Body is crisp and light without being too thin. Overall, almost an IPA in hops but lighter in body and malt. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2012 500mL can from LCBO. Slightly hazy yellow with a long-lasting creamy head. Mild aroma of hops, which is slightly metallic. Taste is decent, some piny and fruity hops and bread, with a mildly bitter, watery, and metallic finish. Feels a little thin, possibly because 5.2% ABV is a little low for the style. A fine session ale, or a good stepping stone for those not yet acquainted with the greatness of hoppy ales. Sampled at the brewery, where it tasted slightly better, and smelt significantly better.

Draft to pint glass at Grand Electric Grapefruit, pine and hops. Cloudy amber with a thin white head, long lasting head. Grapefruit and hops...well balanced malt. Interesting, but not great.

I tried this beer on June 10, 2011 after purchasing from the Queenís Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a translucent light golden amber with a this rocky tan coloured cap. The aroma is bready malt, and citrusy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is primarily citrusy hops, grain, and an odd perfumy flavour.

Big olí can. Hazy golden honey pour with an almost white head that leaves a fairly thick ring of lace. Fresh citrus notes with a light burnt note, some grain and a little off note I canít quite identify. Less citrus on the palate (but itís still there) with a light caramel flavour. Slightly astringent with a hint of cardboard. Decent enough for a session brew.

bottle. Poured clear copper with a rocky off-white lasting head. Inviting floral hop aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a creamy texture. Flavours of caramel, grapefruit and a lingering herbal hoppiness throughout . Iím not a huge fan of APAs but I could drink this one.

Pours golden/copper with a puffy frothy 2 finger head. Big aroma of Pine, Mango - thereís some caramel malt in there too but the Hops dominate this one. Bitter hops in the taste, pine needles, caramel malt and a bit of a woody quality to it. A bit more balanced than the aroma. Fairly lively carbonation here, though there should be some more body to it. Those minor complaints aside, this is a fairly easy drinker and a good representation of an APA. On cask I gave it 3.9.

On tap at Cest what. Pours pale golden in colour, not a lot of head. Mild hoppy aroma, lots od bitter hop flavour. Very good. I will grab a few bottles from LCBO for olympic watching, when it hits the shelves!

Slightly redish gold pour, lots of bubbly head. Very strong bitter/tart grapefruit scent. The taste is about the same. That strong Pale ale grapefruity bitterness. I know some people love it. Sadly Iím not a big fan. Iím sure this is a great pale ale to fans of the style. Not for me though.
