3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Fresh bottle sample- Medium gold pour, with a moderate frothy cap. Aromas of buttered toast, floral hops, white bread, perfume. Strange flavour profile. Has fresh floral hops and a marked lemony bitterness, with a buttery flavour that leads to sweet bready malts. Seems like some sort of hybrid or cross style. It is ok, but what is going on with the butter? I had enough on my toast this morning, thanks. Iíll give it a whirl again, but Iíd like to see the butter go away.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can (473 ml). Extra from TheJester, thanks Andy! Slightly hazy golden/amber with a medium off-white head, good retention and good lacing. Aroma is of citrus, malt and floral hops... simple yet effective. Taste is slightly sweet with citrus, floral notes, malt and a light bitter finish. Light to medium body. Good carbonation. Dry finish. Very good American Pale Ale. Drinkable and well balanced. A tad too malty, but still really enjoyable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled sample. Clear pale orange in colour with fairly strong carbonation. Aromas are a mix of pale and crystal malt, along with some fresh cut wood and faint sweet orange. Wood and caramel elements come through strongest in the mouth, but the leafy citric hops are still in play (albeit in qute a gentle way). Medium bodied with a bit of woody bitterness. A bit tame, but still pretty drinkable.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can: Pour was medium gold with a thick white head.
aroma was tropical fruit, some citrus as well, biscuits and honey.
flavour was more of the same, bready malt, light caramel, tropical fruit, grapefruity citrus presence. Only a light bitterness to the finish for me though.

65 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Frothy head, hazy pale golden colour. Promising aroma of spiced apricot. Rather carbonated, a nice floral spruce flavor comes through. Sharp on the finish, quite nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from jerc, thanks Jeremy. Pours clear orange, thick white head, gorgeous lacing. Nose is big citrus, fresh rank hop cones, and earthy creaminess. Flavours are nettly hops, with loads of citrus and spice, nice balance, well-rounded. A quality brew from Ontario, blow me over.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: MAY 24, 2011 (2/20/2010) 650 mL bottle. Bronze with a nice fluffy white head. Iíve been reading about this one. I see that some people get diacetyl, and some people donít. I did. Itís there in the aroma, and itís there, to a lesser degree, in the flavour. In this beer, it takes the form of cracker jacks. Certainly not a drain pour, but it spoils what otherwise seems to be an solid beer. Lots of fresh Cascade flavour, nice bitterness. Body seems a little sweet and thin, perhaps. I want to like this one. Maybe they rushed it.
Re-rate. 473 mL can. Pale bronze orange with as nice a head as Iíve ever seen on a pale ale. Lotsa grapefruit, apricot and pineapple in the aroma. Excellent. Nice hop flavour with some malt. Not too sweet, which is good. Iíd like to see just a touch more bitterness in the finish. Just a wee touch. The finish is a little thin. Or somethingMuch improved, though.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Okay gold body with decent carbonation and head. Plenty of heavy hops on the nose, clouding out all else. Flavour is overbearing hops to the extreme with just a hint of grains. Thatís not a bad thing however. This is very good for a pale ale, reminds me of a better homebrew instead of a badly executed macrobrew.
