3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can. Despite the puerile name, this is a surprisingly well-made pale ale. Low expectations begin with the medium-gold appearance, while the gravel and high-hop aroma profile quickly raises those expectation. Gratifyingly full-bodied, generously bitter without being overblown, a gravel-like texture, and a pleasant dark chocolate nuance on the finish. I will drink again, just not ask for it by name...

Keg at Bar Hop. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Good lacing. Aroma of hay, minerals and apricot. Flavour of tonic water, grass and lemon. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Easy drinking, just ok.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Une bière de bucheron. Arome de pamplemousse, citron et légèrement épineux! En bouche, semblablement la même chose, et goût fruité acide, floral... Moyenne amertume qui perdure sous des notes malté et fruité!

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From my Ontario trip. +++ Sampled from a 473 ml can this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a huge creamy-soapy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was tangy, sweet and had moderate vague fruity and floral hops. The flavor was bitter and tangy with citric, fruity and leafy floral hops. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Bar Hop’s new place on St Peter. Blue Jays vs Rangers, Game 4... not much notes therefore. Was fruity, moderately bitter. Nicely balanced. Quite enjoyable, soft and crispish, but not as nice as Amsterdam’s Cruiser I had after this.
