473ml can. Pours a dark ruby/caramel with a fluffy, dirty off-white, one finger head that laces nicely. Aroma has notes of yeast, bread, citrus, caramel, and tropical fruits. A lot going on. Taste is a mild bitter with hints of bread, grains, caramel, and some tropical citrus blended with a lingering bitterness on the finish. Medium body and carbonation. Smooth and clean in the mouth making it easy drinking. Overall pretty good. A lot of flavour and big aroma creates a very enjoyable pale ale. Cheers!

purchased in a tall can from LCBO for $2.80. Decent price, decent beer, bitter finish. Overall good but not great. The brewery is a very good brewery, coming with some great beers, worth checking out what they have to sell at the brewery as they always coming out with some new stuff!

Cask - Caramel malts and earthy hops. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Nutty with some earthy hops and mild bitterness. Reminds me more of a classic ESB.

This is a very decent pale ale. Mahogany in appearance, thick creamy head. Smells of freshly cut grass and some earth. Tastes earthy as well, a little bit of citrusy zing, some metallic notes. Picked this up in Toronto in 2013.

473 ml can into a lager glass. Nothing traditionally pale about this, as it pours a very dark reddish-amber with a pillowy, lasting beige head and good amounts of lacing. Fruity nose with a bit of smokiness. Rich, caramel maltiness and a bit sticky on the palate. Pretty solid.

Can (473 ml). Extra from TheJester, thanks Andy! Dark amber (almost brown) with reddish reflects, medium mostly lasting beige head and good lacing. Aroma of fruity hops, malt, caramel, light smoked notes and resinous presence. Taste is slightly to moderately sweet with caramel, resinous, fruity notes, roasted presence and light bitterness. Light to medium body. Good carbonation. Slightly dry finish. Good American Pale Ale. Drinkable. Not to heavy. I liked it.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. Nose is nuts and spruce. Good upfront bitterness that is quickly taken over by an interesting mix of malts. Medium oily body with soft carbonation. Decent but would like a longer finish.

Pours a light brown with a fast disappearing beige head. Aroma of hops and malt balanced, toasty and sweet smelling. Flavour is almost like a porter. The crystal malts used are darker than the standard pale ale and lend some biscuit, light toffee and the hint of some roasty character. Nothing overpowering. Finish is balanced with a bit of a bitter hint, but not from hops. It is from the roasted malts, a bit like from a standard stout. Surprising and tasty, but definitely misslabeled as a American IPA. More like a porter.
