I think I probably had the last can of this left in a Toronto bar and it was as good as I remembered it was 18 months ago when it came out.

Pours thickly dark black with a big mocha head. Aroma is small roasted malts and big earthy and pine hops. Taste is rich, roasted malts with earthy hop bitterness. Big caramel and fig in the taste. I love the Devil 666 and this is it on steroids. Awesome!

Lubiere (9734) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 1, 2012
A hazed copper ale with a thin lacing and frothy mocha head. In aroma, nice pungent hops, floral and British, with smooth biscuit malt, nice and fragrant. In mouth, a smooth biscuit malt with light roasted notes, nice floral hops, nice and smooth. Cask at Arrow and Loon, July 25 2012.

probstblueribbon (2855) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 26, 2012
Pint at Loon. Very cloudy reddish-copper with a fluffy off-white head. Nice pine, tropical fruit, fruit caramel, toffee, bread crust, brown sugar, nice. Medium body, sparse eff with the occasional prickly point. Pine, resin, some nice tropical fruits, apricots, good caramel, brown sugar backbone, a bit of burnt sugar; dry with pretty good bitterness and a nice resinous, only slightly malty finish. This is what Devilís PA should be.

Aroma: slight tartness, vanilla, citrus feel, some alcohol, orange roundness . Neat.
Appearance: light haze on brown bottom. Mid creamy top. Slight yet visible carbonation. Rings of lace. 4-
Body/Flavour/Palate: medium full bodied. Approach of American barleywine with solid malts and hefty hopping. Good brew.

Also 99 IBU. Wafts hop aromas upon opening. Dark body with enormous two-and-a-half inches of head. Orange taste, citra, spot on DIPA without wrecking the palate. Barleywine or strong ale is our consensus of it. Good and substantive bitterness. Peenís bottle from rep
