Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color ale with a medium pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of wheat malt with intense citrus notes is quite unique. Taste is also dominated by light wheat malt notes with some quite intense citrus notes. Body is super light with good carbonation. Not bad though not something I would drink on a regular basis.

Another thinnish, dry hoppy white beer from GL! Actually not bad (hints of) belgian-style herbs and citrus, and today in the kitchen I enjoy the stark leafy dryness of the palate and finish. It seems a bit dilute and drinks nearly like water, so itís a super session Wit, to wit. Nothing really rushes in to complete the taste between the mild wheat malt base (barely hint of fruit) and the very dry hops, Iím searching and in suspense but it doesnít happen. Semi-cloudy very pale gold and white head. Thanks to GL for the P-X madness and these challenging one-off brews.

September 30, 2011 with blankboy, garthicus, gregclow, jerc and mabel. Bomber c/o J&K. And the verbal abuse from blankboy continues - oh the joys of voice memos. Well looks good on him - if I remember correctly he fell asleep on the streetcar heading home after this tasting; nyah! Anyway. Slightly amber-tinged gold with a decent lasting creamy white head. Slightly vegetal/nasty aroma - wheat, spicy, with elderflowers or something almost chamomile-like (I hate chamomile, donít even like typing the friggin word). Taste, though - very nice indeed; lemon zest nicely moderated by lavender floral sweetness, hardly any alcohol - nice, different. Almost too thick of body, mild carbonation, very floral/wildflower in the finish - kind of hated the aroma but overall I really liked it, a nice change.

Bottle [660ml] shared with HogTownHarry, garthicus, GregClow, jerc & mabel -- c/o j&m. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with a spare diminishing bubbly white head. Aroma is fruity and perfumy along with honey and light spices. Flavour is fruity and floral along with chamomile and honey. Average bodied. Pretty good.

[4014-20110930] 650mL bottle. Light pencil lead aroma has what others are calling chamomile. Hazy, light orange body with a quick foamy white head. Spicy grass and floral wheat flavour. Medium body. Odd but ok. (7/3/6/3/14) 3.3

2011-09-30. Hazy orange pastel, small white head. 3+ Modestly spicy aroma - chamomile? Hints at lemongrass and lemon. 6+ Flavour is similar, bit of spicy/chamomile character, very light bitterness. Average to light bodied palate. The spice character is the most prominent characteristic, and will determine how much you like the beer. I donít personally love it, and prefer the sweet citrus of the marmalade edition. Bottle from the brewery, Toronto

Bomber purchased at brewery during July Project X. . Fresh yeasty and wheat aroma in a big soapy white head. A little funky, a somewhat dry yeasty beer that with its edge is very drinkable and grows on me. Good by itself without food. Very refreshing. Smooth.
