nose is huge hops and some stone fruit. nose is intoxicating with tropical notes of pineapple. funky notes are there but well integrated in a hoppy beer. flavor has a touch more funkyness but so well integrated. great job Lackey

Cask at Cask Days 2011. Beer #4 of festival. Pours a lovely-looking murky yellow-peach (?) with a small to average size long-lasting bubbly white head. Awesome aroma of fruity citra (I’m guessing) hops along with tropical fruit and some Belgian yeast -- but mainly it’s hops all the way and I love it. Really nice flavour follows the aroma but the hop and Belgian yeast flavours are more equally balanced, making for a very tasty Belgian IPA. Medium bodied. A fantastic beer and perhaps the best beer of the fest.

[4052-20111030] Cask. Juicy orange lemon wedges aroma. Murky, light orange brown body with a long-lasting bubbly off-white head. Bitter orange peel flavour has a little grassy hops. Medium body is quite bitter. Delicious. (7/3/9/4/16) 3.9

A hazed amber IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth foral hops with Brett notes, orange pulp, very nice and smooth. In mouth, a smooth floral hops over biscuitty malt, light restrained Brett notes, very nice citrusy notes, excellent. Cask Days, Oct. 30 2011.

cask days 2011. murky orange juice pour, big bouquet of hops, all kinds of citrus fruit, and some light pine. quite bitter, but very pleasant. a tiny bit of funk, it’s coming through, but i’m not getting much. nice pithy finish, medium bitterness. I didnt find the brett added much, it was there, but it was just hoppy in my opinion. nice offering though.

Aroma mild yet quiet aromatic, creamy with hints of citrus, soft fruity backing to it. Very fresh. 7+
Appearance murky, hazed amber look. Rocky lighter top.
Flavor and Palate : Soft texture. Fruity, nutty with hint of vanilla, cream, hops, organic garden after rain. So much is going here. Always changing yet constant at core. Superb drinkability. Great brewing.

#3000, Great beer on a great day at Volo’s Cask Days 2011. Great Beer Great Lakes & thanks for showing around TO lackey & Jon. One of my favorite of the day, if not my favorite. Grapefruit juice looking pour, Tropical fruits, pineapple, brett funk is a little lighter but still a factor. Just a great solid offering.

Pale gold. The aroma has a lot of sweet bright fruit and a touch of orange as well. A little bit of minerally character along with some bright fruit. Solid brew. The Brett is subtle, but it adds a flinty component that is quite lovely.

Cask Days 2011. Another great beer, and name. Very hoppy, and only mildly Bretty. But a little brett is all that counts. Wonder what happens if they turn up the brett and make a DIPA version.

2011-10-30. Hazy dark orange with a small frothy white head. 3+ Flavour is quite interesting from the first sip. Tropical fruit, bit of sourness, pineapple and hints of yeast, lingering bitterness in the finish. 7+ Fruity lightly funky aroma, pineapple and tropical fruit. Smooth medium bodied palate suits it nicely. Yumm! Probably my favorite beer of the festival. Cask Days 2011, Toronto
