[4755-20120824] Nitro tap. Orange flower hops aroma. Hazy, dark orange body with a big long-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter orange wood flavour has a lot of malty bitterness in the finish. Medium-full body. Delicious, great bitter balance. (8/5/9/4/16) 4.2

(Draught sample at Bryden’s, Toronto, Sept 21 2012) Poured a hazy pale orange with coppery hints and an average creamy white head, moderate lacing. Aroma of citrus rind, leafy hops, bit of tropical fruit, hints of caramel sweetness. Flavour initially sweet fruits and malts with some leafy bitterness, not too caramel-heavy. Bitterness increases but still moderate towards the finish, a bit peppery at the end. Body is medium, carbonation very soft. Well-balanced, great aromatics, very sippable IPA indeed!

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2012 On tap. Cloudy orange, white head. Elderflower, pineapple, orange pekoe, a little caramel on the aroma. Malty. A little bready and sweet. Medium finish. Not complex or mind blowing but great balance. Really nice and sessionable.

Draught at Volo, August 24. Pours a hazy orange-copper with a long-lasting average size creamy white head. Lots of lacing on the glass. Lovely, big hoppy aroma, lots of leafy hops backed by sweet fruit and malt. Nice and hoppy flavour, with leafy and citrusy hops, and quite the bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Great stuff, and the nitro for a hoppy beer is interesting indeed.

2012-08-22. Hazy bright orange, lovely creamy beige head and lace. 4+ Nice flavour, tons of citrus seeds in first sips, citrus melange, modest bitterness throughout, orange and grapefruit seeds with light leafy green/musty hops in the finish. 7+ Very smooth average plus to medium bodied palate. 3+ Pleasant hoppy aroma, citrus seeds, orange and tangerine. 7+ Pretty solid. Draft at Volo, Toronto
