3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JoeMcPhee (6967) - Toronto, ON, - SEP 16, 2011
Tap at Volo. Deep hazy golden pour. The nose is fairly dank with a lot of earth and citrus character along with some fairly rich hop resin. Lots of dank hops. A bitmofmcannabis-like character along with some heavy hop bitterness. There is a light caramelly character along with a bit of toasted malt, but the hops really manage to shine through. Dank and very chewy resinous bitterness with a lot of lingering chewiness on the finish. It’s okay, but I like the juicier stuff better.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 mabel (4405) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 10, 2011
[3961-20110911] Tap. Leafy wet twig hop resin aroma. Slightly hazy, dark orange body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Super bitter evergreen resiny hops flavour has a lingering aftertaste. Medium-full body. Really good, nice balance of bitter and leafiness. (7/3/8/4/15) 3.7+

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 15, 2011
2011-09-11. Dark orange amber body with a small beige head. 3+ Pleasantly hoppy, fairly bitter, green leafy hop character and resiny notes. Lingering bitterness long into the finish and aftertaste, muted orange citrus comes out eventually. 7+ Green leafy hop aroma, muted orange citrus. 7+ Average plus to medium bodied palate is nice. 3+ Not my favorite, but a very good IPA. 3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Sammy (6125) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 11, 2011
On tap at Wychwood Barns event, enjoyed with the brewers. 80 IBU rated, and it seemed like a 1.5 X a regular IPA, with citra, amarillo and simcoe. Orange colour, no head, very citrus, full of flavour, carbonation right there and good drinkability. Would be even better with food.
