3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours golden with 3 fingers of dense off-white head. Strong aroma of pine and grapefruit. Tastes of same, with a little berry thrown in. Somewhat oily mouthfeel with a lingering sour hop bitterness in the aftertaste. A very nice IPA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
650 ml bottle from the LCBO.
Appearance: Pours a hazy pale orangish colour with over two fingers of head. Average retention with lots of lacing.
Aroma: Grapefruit, pine, green pepper.
Mild grapefruit, flour, yeast, bit of pine.
Mouthfeel: Quite creamy.
Overall: The aroma was really great with this one but I was underwhelmed by the flavour. I was expecting a bit more hops and pine and I’m not a hop head. Anyway, this is a good solid IPA but not a great one in my opinion.

4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Big floral citrus aroma. Golden and clear with a slightly rose gold hue, white dense head. Bitterness develops slowly, veggie/leafy flavour, some slight earthiness, medium bodied and fairly easy to drink. Lots of hops in this one, I’ll be drinking it again.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: Poured a nice clear bright yellow color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of huge floral hoppy notes of citrus with some leafy notes. Taste is dominated by the leafy and citrus hoppy notes with limited bitterness and some residual sugar notes clearly identifiable. Body is light with good carbonation. I really enjoyed this beer and love the aromatics and the balancing of the bitterness.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: DEC 7, 2015 650ml bottle from the LCBO. Hazy orangey-light light amber body with a creamy head lacing extravagant white lacing. Tropical fruits are present, some pineapple, pear, and orange juice. A little bit earthy, decaying leaves as well, some cereal in the back although it is obviously hop forward with little malt presense in the aroma. Thin bodied and light. Lively carbonation with a grapefruit rind finish which is quite long.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Brothers Beer Bistro (Ottawa, ON). Hazy amber body with a thin white creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with citrusy and mango hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries herbal and grapefruit notes. Ends with a long bitter finish. Good stuff.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
GLB has definitely arrived, this pint was as good as I could ever hope Stone IPA to be with delicious layers of citrus and no excessively acerbic leafy bitterness. Nice gently hazy gold color. I look forward to having again. At Thirsty and Miserable.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

Bottle from the Dundurn LCBO. Pours a clear copper/ gold , two finger white head, loads of lace. Nose is sweet and powerfully tropical fruity. Tastes sweet buscuity malt, bitter, good harmony between the two. Nice stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours clear amber with a frothy to creamy white head that diminishes slowly leaving a ring of foam and pretty good lacing. Fresh bright aroma of spruce, resin and citrus. Medium body, medium bitterness, light sweetness, average to lively carbo and a very long bitter finish. Well balanced, nicely done.
